On Sunday 5th May, Henning Harders participated in the Wings For Life Run 2019. It’s a unique event that takes place each year all around the world, as organised group runs and app runs. There is no pre-defined finish line – instead, each participant’s race is complete once the ‘catcher car’ passes them. This car is either real or virtual, depending on which event you signed up for.

As part of the event this year, Henning Harders sponsored the emergency services for the Australian event and rallied together a team of 52 runners across Australia, New Zealand and the UK. In total, we raised and contributed $11,466 towards the cause, part of a massive $5.6million raised worldwide. 100% of all funds raised from the event will go directly to life-changing spinal cord research projects and clinical trials.

A big congratulations to the whole team – and a shout out to Steven Scodeller, running a massive 29.43km. We’re looking forward to seeing what’s to come next year.
